A real Vermont license plate is used to create each Switch PL8.  They can be installed over the existing wall switch cover or replace the existing one reusing the your existing screws.  The single switch plate contains two letters or two numbers.  The style with letters have the Maple tree in the upper left corner which is the state tree.  The style with numbers (shown) usually has the expired sticker intact.
